Format: 2 Full ArtCart Day in a field (July 2022)

The ArtCart became its own little hub and refuge form the rain at the amazing Stendhal Festival in Limavady. Parked down beside the Annan’s Arch stage we meet hundreds of little festival goers and their grown-ups over the 2 days. Young people were invited to do some mindful colouring-in and then watch it magically come to life using AR technology. Coming on to the ArtCart felt like a momentary escape from festival-madness

Client: Belfast Children’s Festival
Format: 1 Day Drop in Event
Artforms: VR Graffiti & Augmented Reality
Young at Art were celebrating the legends of Northern Ireland with the GIANT family day out in Writers Square for the Belfast Children’s Festival 2022. WheelWorks rocked up with the ArtCart and our full gazebo set up for extra room for funtivities. On the ArtCart we ran some VR Graffiti workshops that allowed teens to embrace their inner Banksy without the mess. Out in the gazebo we ran the ever-popular AR workshop using Quiver – perfect for drop in events and especially popular with young children.
