Empower Young Voices - Challenge Hate - Build Belonging
Co-designed and tested by young people across Belfast, CREATE AGAINST HATE is a creative, interactive toolkit for addressing hate crime, bias and misinformation in an age-appropriate way. The project is funded by the Belfast City Council Community Recovery Fund.
what’s in the kit?
CREATE AGAINST HATE contains art, animation, and creative play resources to help learners think critically, act with empathy and appreciate diversity.
There are 11 fun activities to choose from - each activity can be used with different age groups.
And it’s packed with facilitator tips & resources so that you can tailor the activities to suit your audience.
toolkit TRAINING FOR YOUTH LEADERS & EDUCATORS
We offer hands-on training to support teachers and youth leaders to use the toolkit with confidence.
We’ll walk you through each creative activity, provide guidance on adapting the toolkit for your young people and build the confidence needed to tackle sensitive or hate‑related issues.
