FUTURE FOCUS

Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon

creativity
& conversation

WheelWorks is delighted to have another opportunity to run our Future Focus programme, this time in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon council area.

The project is designed to take outreach and detached work in a new direction by utilising our unique mobile vehicle, ChillCart, as a social space for engaging young people out on the streets.

We have partnered with St Mary’s Youth Club, Portadown and Drumgor Detached Youth Project (DDYP), Craigavon for a yearlong programme in which will provide safe spaces for creativity, conversation, and connection. Our approach is open ended so that the programme can be responsive to the needs of the young participants.

The programme is supported by the Executive Office’s Central Good Relations Fund delivering under the ‘Together: Building a United Community’ Strategy, which is working to improve community relations across NI as we build on our commitment to move towards a more united and shared community.
