Position: Project Coordinator

Office Location: Belfast

Job Type: Maternity cover until April 2025 (with possibility of extension)

Salary: £27,000 pro rota

Position: Part time, 25 hours per week and working 4 days per week

Days of the week: Monday to Friday and involves some evening and weekend work


Would you like to be part of our energetic, innovative team? WheelWorks youth arts charity seeks an experienced coordinator to manage their Good Relations Programme in the community, youth clubs, events across Northern Ireland.

 

This is an amazing job opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter, passionate individual who will share our vision to forge new creative and inclusive spaces that inspire and empower young people and their communities.

 

You will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination, monitoring and delivery of Wheelworks' newly secured projects. The post will require experience of project management, outreach support, youth participation (preferably with hard to reach and disadvantaged young people).

 

This role requires a can-do, hands-on approach as well as a passion for promoting and igniting creativity amongst the young people and their community. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a strong mix of skills and/or experience of creative participation, youth work/engagement, recruiting and engaging with hard-to-reach and disadvantaged young people, project and team management.
